PROFESSOR ENOH TADJONG's RETIREMENT "Am a happy man ,I fulfilled my mission" professor ENOH TADJONG says November 25th 2020 Talking to Andrew Nsoseka and Hope NDA in an interview focus on professor career part and his achievements, communication professor, journalism trainer ,researcher and author professor ENOH TADJONG says he is retiring as a happy man after working for decades in his passion field career and his vision has been fulfilled. Professor TADJONG officially retire on October 10th 2020 when he clocks 65 as required by the text in place. He narrated how his career part took him round the world and he later came back to Cameroon to train generations of communication experts in diverse fields . Visiting his days in the classroom at the journalism and mass communication in the university of Buea , where he was referred to as a "pope" by his students and colleagues, ENOH as he loved to be retired said " I do other things such as consultancy , I now do what I was unable to do when I was busy with my career and raising kids". He also talks about his health stating that he just recovered from Ischemic stroke he had in April 2019. Talking on how his career became this far, professor says that his career was in the making from years that he was student. That is from primary school of Foutabe , he traveled to start Joseph college SSASSE where he obtained his ordinary level in 1972 and proceed to ccast bambili where he got his advanced level. He later moved to Lagos to study mass communication after he moved to the United States and obtained Masters and PhD in December 1981. Professor ENOH TADJONG says his students keep him going as he said " the students I trained while at the department undergraduate/ post graduate are now the most influential communication professionals in Africa and the world that's what keeps me going. Look at BBC , Africa news, CRTV, STv ,Equinoxe TV , the post , Cameroon Tribune and other news organs my students are in commanding positions." Talking to Andrew and Hope , professor ENOH TADJONG makes us to understand he is the author of many books that are used borth in Cameroon and abroad example media balance in Sub Saharian Africa's Fragile Democracy..
